With the exception of the last two panels, this is pretty much how it all went. I don't even need to make shit up. My friends' lives are hilarious enough. So that thing I said I might be going to is this year's 24 Hour Comic Day. I thought I was going, but it turns out I'm not. But Dim McRemnant will be there so you can go cheer him on.
